Our Story
TravelGyd Adventures LLC was founded in 2019 in Middletown, Delaware, by a small group of travel enthusiasts who saw an opportunity to bring personalized service back to the travel industry. At a time when most booking platforms were pushing travelers toward automated, impersonal workflows, our founders believed that a knowledgeable human advisor could deliver a better experience. They pooled their combined 40 years of industry experience and opened a boutique travel agency committed to building trips around people rather than algorithms.
The early months were spent developing relationships with hotels, airlines, tour operators and local guides around the world. These partnerships remain the backbone of our business. They allow us to offer competitive pricing, priority access and exclusive experiences that online-only booking engines cannot match. By the end of our first year, word-of-mouth referrals had brought us over 500 clients, and our team had grown from three to eight travel specialists.
